**SOLD PENDING FUNDS**
One of the quickest, quietest and smoothest cars you’ll ever drive. A true joy to own that never gets old. No exhaust, noise, vibrations, smells or dangerous moments of waiting for the car to speed up when trying to merge. It truly feels like driving the future. New price was over $150k. 0-60mph in a mind numbing 2.6 seconds! Battery pack recently replaced by Tesla and now it has MORE range than when it was new! This is the refreshed 2016.5 model year that ditches the nose cone and also includes LOTS of other small upgrades of hardware and software over the previous nose cone versions.
Private party sale with clean title in-hand for quick and easy transaction. Clean history. Second owner.
Here’s an ultra rare opportunity to own one of the quickest cars from 0-60mph ever made: Tesla Model S P90D w/ the Ludicrous Option loaded with every option possible from the factory in one of if not THE most desirable color combos made. 100% electric power that offers instant power delivery of 762hp through all four wheels makes for 0-60mph acceleration in 2.6 seconds (rated, most real world tests have it faster than that) a 1/4 mile time of just 10.8 seconds and a top speed of 155mph all in complete silence. EPA estimated original range of 270 miles means most owners can get away with charging their car only once per week using existing electrical outlets your home already has. No need to install expensive charger stations to own this car.
On top of all of that, Tesla makes the safest car ever made and other manufacturers aren’t even close.
Regenerative braking uses the motors as generators to turn your forward momentum into energy that gets put back into the battery pack which saves energy as well as wear and tear on the brake components. Most are getting hundreds of thousands of miles out of the brake pads and rotors as an added bonus since you rarely use them. The single-pedal driving experience is incredibly simple and far more enjoyable than standard two or three pedal driving of traditional cars.
This car was been very well maintained and is in great shape. Adult owned and VERY well cared for this is one of the best examples in terms of condition and overall shape at this price that you’ll find. This car includes FREE Premium Data (which costs $10/month on all other Teslas, new and used) 100% free for life.
Purchased used directly from Tesla directly through their CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) which means it met the strict standards Tesla sets for them to resell rather than sending to auction. Only the best trade-ins are selected for this program. The original owner traded it in on a new Tesla and then I bought it directly from Tesla. This car has never been in hands other than Tesla, the original owner or myself which is a big bonus to most of the other cars for sale with questionable histories.
It also includes the balance of an 8-year and unlimited mile warranty on the battery pack and drive motors directly through Tesla which will expire in late 2024. These cars don’t have a lot of moving parts so you’re covered for the big ticket items for a long time (almost 3 yeas).
This car is the perfect blend of being able to see and buy the car today plus getting the FREE Premium Data for life that’s only available on private party cars. This is the one everyone is looking for right now because it combines the best of both worlds which rarely comes up for sale. The best part is I already took the risk of buying used directly from Tesla. I bought one before this one and refused delivery because of the condition. When you buy used from Tesla, not only is the condition unknown save for a few crappy pictures but you can’t even see it prior to buying and in most cases will wait upwards of a month from when you put a deposit down to actually be able to take delivery of the vehicle. You may wait a month only to find that the condition of the car you’ve been dreaming about is awful once you finally see it in person. Yikes! On top of all of that, all cars that are traded into Tesla that previously had Free Premium data have have had that feature stripped from the car before being resold to the next owner. Same goes for buying used Tesla from a 3rd party dealership so be careful of used car dealerships who still advertise this feature based on old outdated information that is no longer accurate because you won’t get that with ANY Tesla sold by a 3rd party dealership.
New 12v and high-volt battery pack as of 6/22/21 replaced by Tesla under warranty. The 90kWh battery pack in this car now has even MORE range than they came with new. EPA rating of these cars brand new was 270 miles and that was on their best day. Optimistic to say the least and most people didn’t get much above 255ish miles even when they were new. On this car, after the battery was replaced, it now shows 100% charge as 274 miles.
In other words, this is basically a P100D in terms of performance and range but doesn’t say it in the display or back of the car plus you’re not paying the premium for a P100D. IMO this is the sweet spot as you’re getting the best of all worlds at a discount.
When it comes to EVs, range is king and this car not only has more range than the new one did but it will certainly now last much much longer as well. The physical battery pack they swapped in is likely a 100kWh pack software locked to 90kWh which will get you MANY benefits to include faster charging and longer life since it’s technically 80% state of charge even if you charge it to 100% (which we don’t, 80-90% maximum is where we set it) and has the newer and better battery chemistry.
In addition, the lower control arms were both also recently replaced by Tesla. These are a known failure point on these cars as the original lower control arms were weak and poorly designed. This car now has the newer and MUCH more robust lower control arms so you won’t have to worry about them failing now.
This car includes Autopilot with “convenience features” which means Autopilot (aka Highway Autopilot) is activated and will remain that way. Be careful because some (most) other cars for sale list Autopilot which means it has the hardware but unless the previous owner paid $5,000 to have it activated the car won’t actually have the Autopilot functionality… just the hardware to do it if you ever pay the $5,000 that Tesla charges to activate it via software. This car includes all of that so if you see a cheaper car that’s probably one of the large differences.

This car has a clean history and a clean Colorado title w/o any loans or liens. No accidents and no repairs. It’s not a new car and so buyer shouldn’t expect cosmetic condition to be flawless like a brand new car. Nothing excessive and well within what most would consider normal wear and tear for a car of this age other than a scratch on the driver’s side from being keyed (Grrrrr). The new owner will be very pleased with the overall condition. Especially when you consider that new this car was around $160k. You won’t be disappointed.
It’s been loved it’s whole life and it shows. It needs nothing mechanical and everything functions 100% flawlessly. The only reason we’re selling is we got a newer one. My wife and I both own a Model S though and are a 100% Tesla family. Once you drive one you’re likely to make the same decision. Being able to “remote start” your car via the Tesla app and set the exact temperature or seat heat is incredible. Having it warmed up or cooled off within minutes w/o an engine running or wasting gas is priceless. Electricity prices are super low here and our first full month of ownership our electrical bill went up $14. This same period would have used about $150 in gas. This was also when gas prices were $2.18/gal so today the savings would be even better. Figure spending less than 10% of the money you currently spend on gas to drive this EV. Most likely you’ll save thousands of dollars every year from not paying for gas or oil changes. Not to mention you never need to take time out of your day to drive out of your way to get gas or sit around waiting for oil changes. You just get up every morning and have a full “tank” and can drive nearly 300 miles before charging.
That doesn’t even factor in the fewer parts to maintain or have fail (water pump, alternator, timing-belt, spark plugs and wires, fuel system, various filters, etc.) or the time you’ll save by never having to go to a gas station or oil change again. These cars really are life changing. You’ll quickly realize how much time and money you wasted on traditional gas powered vehicles.
Not interested in any trades at this time. I will not release the car or the title without deposited/cleared funds. There’s a higher demand for Tesla used cars than there is availability so you’ll find that none of the book values reflect what the actual market is. For whatever reason the “book value” entities seem to be behind the times on how much better a used EV holds it’s value than their gas-powered counterparts. Just know up front that your bank or credit union may not finance 100% of the price of this car and you may need to bring a down payment to the closing table to cover any difference. Your lending institution’s loan amount does not determine my sale price.
Teslas are being used a lot for scams these days given their popularity and, unlike those deals, we can meet in person and you can see the car for yourself. Beware of non-local deals of cars that seem like too good of a deal or previously repaired/auctioned cars found at dealerships as there’s lots of scary vehicles out there right now. Don’t send anyone any money or deposit before you see the car in person. If it seems like too good of a deal to be true, it probably is.
