2022 Tesla Model X Plaid for sale by owner — $45,000 (Lubbock, TX). Tri-motor Plaid with falcon-wing doors and 6-passenger seating. Black on black. 71,168 miles. It’s insanely quick (0–60 in 2.5s) — and Tesla no longer makes the Model X, so the Plaid was the fastest version they made.
Title is branded Warranty Buyback (not salvage), priced under clean-title comps for that reason; I have the letter from Tesla explaining it and am happy to share it. Per the Tesla paperwork, the original buyers returned it in California after buying it new — they did not like the way the Falcon Wing doors work and kept taking it in. We have been fine with it, as they work as-intended. Steering yoke has minor peeling on the grips (visible in photos). All 4 tires replaced within the last year.
Software version 2026.38.5.1; the car is currently running Full Self-Driving v14.3 Lite — FSD is a monthly subscription and does NOT transfer with the car, so it is priced as a standard Autopilot vehicle.
