- Panoramic Sunroof
- Free Unlimited Supercharging
I am selling my 2013 Model S 85, I’ve had the car since 2017, second owner . The car threw a BMS u029 code and has been reset. CAN bus data and load-testing suggest the battery chemistry is healthy. It may be a sensor/software false positive. Battery testing shows less than 6 mV voltage spread. A Hybrid ReVolt hardware bypass is installed (worth $750) and included in the sale. Car charges and drives at 100% power, charges to 240 miles range. Perfect for someone who wants a fully functional SC01 Free Supercharging car. You are buying a car that is fully mobile and usable right now. I am still transparently selling this as a u029 car.
If you are an EV tech, a DIYer, or run a module-swapping shop, this is the exact type of candidate you want. The battery chemistry is stable, and virtually every other major failure point and tech bottleneck on this car has already been bulletproofed or upgraded.
*** Free Lifetime Supercharging (SC01): This code transfers to the new owner.
*** Free Premium Connectivity: Lifetime free data.
I have poured a ton of money into the mechanicals of this car. You won’t have to touch the common failure points:
Reconditioned Rear Drive Unit installed in November 2025. It still has an active 1-year warranty valid through November 2026.
New 12V Battery (Nov 2025).
New Tires with low miles on them (March 2025).
MCU2 Infotainment Upgrade: Both the main center screen and the instrument cluster screen were upgraded to the modern Intel Atom processors (Netflix, YouTube, lightning-fast maps).
LTE Connectivity Upgrade: No stuck-on-3G issues.
Efuse Repair already completed.
New Battery Coolant Pump.
New Active Aero Louvers.
New Front and Rear Sway Bars.
Panoramic Sunroof.
Premium Audio
Rear-Facing Jump Seats in the back (7-passenger vehicle).
Removable Fixed mount roof rack included, perfect for kayak
With 145,000 miles, the car is in good, solid shape. It has some normal wear and tear on the interior and exterior that you’d expect for the year, but overall it shows very well.
You are looking at a car with the most expensive non-battery items already replaced, an active drive unit warranty, a modern MCU2 brain, transferred free Supercharging, and a battery pack that shows highly balanced resting chemistry.
