2017- December Tesla Model S 100D Dual Motor AWD. Low Miles, Garage-kept, Excellent condition. Warranty remaining. Meticulously maintained @Watertown, MA Tesla Service Center (see maintenance XLS).
Battery treatment: 91% charging = Level 2 chargers (home destination chargers); only 9% @ Tesla super chargers, which while great on road trips are generally not battery friendly over the long haul. Range: Avg range = 310 /- miles per 100 kWh across all seasons and 38,643 miles since 03/2022 (i.e., 323 watt-hours per mile; typical highway speed 74mph.
. Features of THIS Model S:
- “Full self driving” software installed and ready (monthly FSD fee required).
- Smart Air suspension, Premium Connectivity, Premium Audio Enhanced Autopilot.
- Traffic-aware cruise control.
- Heated seats (front and rear) Heated steering wheel.
- Stalks for turning signals, wipers and gear selection.
Key upgrades and replacements:
- Glass roof replaced (06/2025, $1700 under insurance (baseball foul ball cracked the glass).
- Replaced Visual Computing Module (VCM) to an Nvidia 8GB eMMC (04/2022 under warranty)
- $1,500 /- repairs (08/2025) to replace driver-door weather stripping, body seal and small forward triangle window to eliminate disruptive whistling-air turbulence sound. All quiet again.
- Roof rack (brand new, haven’t installed it; buyer has option to purchase for $300)
- The only exterior blemish is a small ding on rear passenger door suffered by my wife bumping at very low speed into another car’s door in Trader Joe’s parking lot. No impact on door handle function, difficult to even see.
Ownership history: 3rd owner BUT note: 1st owner was under lease that expired (and Tesla at that time 2020 did not have a buy-out option); 2nd owner bought and sold to same Infiniti dealer, and went on to buy a 2022 Plaid I bought car for $68k March 2022.
- Why selling? If we get fair price, we will buy a later-year Model S.
- Contact me if you’re looking for great EV value, gorgeous color, ridiculous acceleration, low mileage, well maintened at a low price.
