My Tesla gives me a sense of security while commuting to work (about an hour each way) on the most dangerous of Long Island roads – the Southern State Parkway. Compared to other electric vehicles, Tesla has the best regenerative braking available. It exponentially increases your response time, eliminating those critical moments to move your foot over to the brake pedal. It takes a little getting used to, but the benefits are undeniable.
