2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV Premier

Here’s a nice 2020 Chevy Bolt EV in nearly new condition. Selling regretfully as I need a vehicle I can take on longer trips, and the infrastructure for EVs isn’t quite where it needs to be for my purposes.  I’ve taken it in for all dealer-recommended services, tire rotations, etc.  It was driven mostly on the highway when I had a work commute.

This car is part of the Chevy Bolt EV recall, and is in line for a brand new battery. ((See below for the most recent update 10/18/22 from GM regarding the status of the recall)). As such, the dealership has adjusted the charging settings per manufacturer recommendations. See articles below on 1. The benefits of the battery recall (Summary: You’ll get a new and upgraded battery under 100,000K warranty which performs even better than the original), and 2. In addition to being comfortable, this is a really fun car to drive – it’s very zippy, responsive, and has an array of amazing features.  It’s got a ton of safety features, as well as fun high-tech features like WiFi capability through OnStar, Bluetooth, and Bose speakers for excellent sound. One pedal driving, also called regenerative braking, means you hardly ever need to use the brakes. Comes with reflective sunshield purchased from the dealership. This car has been well taken care of in its short life, has never been exposed to smoke or animals (unless you call middle school children animals, which some do). It does have a few very minor surface scratches on the back from a bicycle being removed. Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you. Thanks for looking.

Parts to repair your vehicle are not currently available, but when parts are available, your dealer will replace the lithium ion battery modules in your vehicle with new lithium ion battery modules. This service will be performed for you at no charge.
 
We are working as quickly as possible to correct this condition. Notification to MY 2020-2022 owners has begun in small numbers. It will take several months to notify all owners in this group of their available remedy as we balance the volume and the availability of the replacement batteries. You will be contacted via a notification in your MyChevyMobileapp or via phone from our EV Concierge team and receive a final remedy letter by mail when your vehicle is ready for a replacement and, at that time, you will be able to work with your dealership to schedule an appointment.%u200B

Once the recall repair is completed, Chevrolet will provide a new 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty on the vehicle, beginning the date and mileage of the repair. We hope this will help to ease any concerns you have around the vehicle’s future
