Selling my 2021 Nissan Leaf SL Plus after completing a personal EV/driver-assist project. This is the top-trim Leaf Plus with the larger 62 kWh battery, leather-appointed interior, Bose audio, heated seats, heat pump, ProPILOT Assist, and 360-degree Around View Monitor.
The car currently has 44,000 miles and has a clean Carfax with no accidents reported. It was recently serviced, and the tires were replaced in October 2025. I have included battery-health screenshots from LeafSpy for transparency.
Battery health / LeafSpy data
This is one of the strongest parts of the car.
LeafSpy screenshots show:

- AHr: 161.18
- Cell voltage spread: about 16 mV
- 56 quick charges and 465 Level 1/Level 2 charges
In plain English, this means the battery appears to be in excellent condition for its age and mileage. The low cell voltage spread suggests the pack is well balanced, and the charging history shows the car has primarily been charged on Level 1/Level 2 rather than frequent DC fast charging.
I am happy to walk a buyer through the LeafSpy data if they are newer to EVs.
Driver assistance / Comma 4 option
The car currently has a Comma 4 running OpenPilot v0.11.0 installed.
This adds an advanced driver-assistance experience beyond the factory ProPILOT Assist, including strong lane-centering and adaptive cruise support on compatible roads. This is still a driver-assistance system, not autonomous driving, and the driver must remain attentive and responsible at all times.
I am flexible here:
- $19,900 OBO with the Comma 4 included
- $19,400 OBO without the Comma 4
If the buyer prefers the car closer to stock, I can remove the Comma system cleanly before sale.
Charging
The car includes an A2Z Tesla/NACS to J1772 adapter for Level 2 Tesla Destination Chargers. This can be useful at hotels, garages, workplaces, and other locations with Tesla Destination charging.
Important clarification: this adapter does not enable Tesla Supercharging.
The car does not include the OEM Nissan mobile charging cord. Most buyers using a home Level 2 charger will not need it, but I want to be transparent.
Recall disclosure
There is an open Nissan recall related to DC fast charging. As of now, Nissan has not released the remedy. Level 1 and Level 2 charging are unaffected. Out of caution, Nissan advises avoiding DC fast charging until the remedy is available.
I am disclosing this clearly up front and have priced the car with that in mind.
Condition
Overall, the car presents very well and has been well cared for. Interior is clean, leather seats are in good shape, and the car drives nicely. There are normal cosmetic marks for age and mileage, including small bumper/parking-lot blemishes, which I have photographed rather than hiding.
