2021 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range RWD

If you’re just looking for any old Tesla, this isn’t it. But if you want one of the most unique Model 3s ever built, keep reading.

This is a 2021 “Refresh” model that shouldn’t technically exist. I just had the main high-voltage battery replaced by Tesla under warranty (at 39k miles) with the brand-new LFP chemistry. This gives you the Holy Grail of Tesla specs:

Brand New Battery (LFP)

– Charge to 100% every day, most 2021s have the old battery (NCA) you can only charge to 80%. This one fills up every night like a cell phone.
– LFP batteries are known to last 3x longer than the old ones. ~1,500 cycles for old NCA and ~4,500 cycles for the new LFP chemistry.
– Unlike the slow 2022 LFP models (5.8s 0-60), this car kept its 2021 performance motor. You get the 5.3s 0-60 speed with the new battery’s reliability.

Full Self-Driving (FSD) — PAID IN FULL

– No Subscriptions: I paid the $8,000 for FSD upfront. It is tied to the VIN forever.
– Transferable: It moves to you for free via the Tesla app. You’ll never pay the $99/month fee that everyone else has to.

The “Refresh” Goodies (2021 only):

– Heat Pump: Crucial for winter range.
– Power Trunk: Opens/closes from the app or screen.
– Double-Pane Glass: Much quieter on the highway than 2020 models.
– Blacked-out Trim: Factory “chrome delete” look.

Condition:

Chassis: 40k miles (mostly highway).
Battery: <1,000 miles (literally brand new).
Extras: Mobile charger and floor mats included.

There was a very small window in which this style of Model 3 was sold with the ability to outright purchase the FSD hardware. You won’t find another 2021 with a brand-new LFP swap and paid-off FSD for sale in the country. This is the most future-proof Tesla you can buy. Asking $29,500.
