Garage kept and responsibly charged. I typically charge to 70%, sometimes 80%. A few times fully charged for longer trips. I really love this car and it pains me to have to part with it. Unfortunately, our needs changed shortly after purchasing some upgrades. In my opinion, the only thing holding this car back from being damn near a supercar is the brakes. The brake pedals on these cars are notorious for being sloppy. The paragon performance brake master cylinder brace (see photo) I installed partially fixed that. I didn’t get the chance to install the paragon performance street/light track pads I purchased, or the goodridge stainlees steel braided lines. I suspect those plus some racing fluid will make a world of difference, along with the lowered ride height from the H&R sport springs that are included, but not yet installed. Those will drop the car 1.2″ (approx. 30mm) all the way around. The adaptive suspension is already a big upgrade from the previous models, so after all that is installed this car will be a beast. I felt those springs were a good middle ground, not going too low, so as not to affect daily driving. I purchased some H&R track spacers (10mm front and 14mm rear) to complete that lowered and flush look, as these cars benefit immensely from being lowered and a widened stance.
I also purchased a carbon fiber sport steering wheel, which feels phenomenal in your hands. Makes driving this car even more engaging, and is just a beautiful, tactile piece of craftsmanship to hold. Even though these cars have fantastic self-driving, I prefer to drive myself (except on the highway) and the steering wheel is the most touched/used piece of the vehicle. So, it really enhances the whole experience, in my opinion. Plus it looks incredible.
The 3D maxspider custom fit carmats uncluded are super easy to clean and remove/replace, plus have a bit of a carbon fiber look to them. This is a nice touch, since the steering wheel and dash have carbon fiber aestehtics, plus all 4 doors have carbon fiber upper door sill covers I installed. I had a few other carbon fibers pieces I had planned on purchasing, but didn’t get there. I had already installed carbon fiber badge covers on the front and rear of the car’s exterior, so it was almost complete. In addition to all that, the car has full ceramic tint. Side windows are all 10%. Windshield is 70%, rear/top is 20%. With the final touch being the Tesla performance badge, door projector lights. Which look awesome at night when the front doors are opened.
