An all wheel drive trim of the Model S, the Tesla 85D packed an 85kWh lithium ion battery capable of a 295 mile range on a single charge. The dual-motor, 417 hp engine had a remarkable top speed of 155 mph. With a zero to sixty acceleration of 5.1 seconds, the Model S 85D offered incredible handling, power, and aesthetic appeal starting with its first offering in 2014 and continuing to deliver excellent performance until production was discontinued in 2016.
Various wheel options were available on the Model S 85D, though the 19” base model remained popular with buyers.
