This car still turns heads despite Teslas being as common as weed(s) in California.
After I bought this Tesla Model S in 2018, I took it to a hot aftermarket shop, and spent an additional $2,000 to de-chrome, and de-badge the car, making it mostly black and white, fit for a Star Wars stormtrooper. That was the idea, anyway. Just a few months ago I had all four door handles replaced by Tesla Service, for the glossy black finish option which wasn’t available in 2018.
Specs List: Enhanced Autopilot Hardware, Autopilot Hardware (I noted in specs autopilot hardware 2.5(HW2.5) but this is a guess –> I don’t know what level of autopilot hardware is included), GPS Enabled Homelink, Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive, Pearl White Multi-Coat (PPSW), Sunroof, No Spoiler, 100D Long Range, 19″ Sonic Carbon Slipstream Wheels, Free Unlimited Supercharging (which I don’t believe is transferable after the sale), Black Premium Interior, and Premium Upgrades package, which includes:
• Premium leather seating and cabin materials with open pore wood décor: carben fiber in this case.
• Heated seats. All models offer a dual-zone climate control system, but this offers added warmth.
• Two rear USB ports. This is in addition to the two USB ports in the front center console, as well as a 12-volt power outlet.
• Twelve-way, power adjustable front seats, steering column and side mirrors, with custom driver profiles.
• Premium audio system. The upgraded version offers more power, tweeters, surround speakers and subwoofer.
• Tinted glass roof, packing ultraviolet and infrared protection.
• Premium side mirrors, with auto dimming, power folding, and heating. All side mirrors are power-adjustable.
• LED fog lamps.
• A center console with covered storage, as well as docking for two smartphones.
Battery Limited Warranty and Drive Unit Limited Warranty are both active: expire Mar 29, 2026 or unlimited total miles, whichever comes first. (I assume these warranties transfer, but I am unsure.)
The ONLY issue with the vehicle is a purely cosmetic one, which is thankfully small: a “ding” next to the driver’s side door handle. (See photos.) This car is incredibly fast, fun to drive, has very low mileage, and is in excellent condition.
